It is made from two natural substances: laurel essential oil and olive essential oil.

Laurel oil: the seeds of the fruits contain a large amount of oils up to 70%, but more attention is paid to the leaves for their medicinal properties, due to cineol, the main component of the essence. Among the most important therapeutic activities that laurel oil has, is that it eliminates harmful microorganisms that may lodge on the surface of the skin and in a way is anti-inflammatory.

Olive Oil: The olive plant is a tree that lives for many years, reaching several centuries, being one of the trees that live the longest. It is known that some specimens have reached a thousand years.

Main components: vitamins A, E, P and C and minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and sulfur.

Vitamin A, called carotene. It is fat-soluble, that is, it needs fat to be absorbed. It helps prevent certain skin infections and helps maintain healthy skin because it is a skin restorative and prevents premature drying.

Vitamin E, also called tocopherol, is fat soluble and enhances vitamin A activity. It functions essentially as an antioxidant and therefore has a protective action on the skin.

Vitamin P, also called bioflavonoid, to this vitamin we owe the yellow color of some vegetables, it is water soluble. Its main activity is to increase resistance to infections, it also protects the mucous membranes when they are inflamed or bleeding and increases the effectiveness of vitamin C.

Vitamin C, called ascorbic acid, is water soluble, helps protect against infections and accelerates wound healing.

History of its handmade manufacture: This wonderful soap originates from the ancient city of ALEPPO, in SYRIA. Its ancestral way of manufacture dates back to more than 2,000 years ago. It is one of the most prestigious soaps in the world, from which all Spanish, Italian and French handmade oils are derived.
The technique of making these soaps was brought to Europe by the Crusades in the 12th century and, despite the passage of time, its recipe has remained unchanged to the present day.

Its secret lies in the use of olive oil, laurel oil, soda from salicorn plants and water. The olive oil, water and soda are mixed in a huge cauldron whose paste is stirred by shovels that men shake for several days. Once the cooking is done, the laurel oil is added. To check the excellence of the paste, the master soap maker examines with his hands its texture and smoothness, then this paste is spread on the ground, cut into rectangular pieces and dried in the Syrian sun for several months.
